Martel created Digital 4 Planet, to build a Sustainable Digital Community. In our video series, Martel CEO and Digital 4 Planet President, Dr Monique Calisti outlines the various areas of engagement for Digital 4 Planet’s green tech action groups to grow communities around digital innovation for sustainable development.

Digital 4 Planet green tech action groups bring together experts in key areas to contribute to steering the digital transition to a green and sustainable movement. Working groups are established to promote Green Cloud-Edge-IoT Computing with a call for data centers, powered by renewable energy; Climate-neutral and Sustainable Smart Cities as more than half the world’s population lives in urban areas and this trend is only growing; Sustainable Next Generation Internet for more trust in the tools we use for work and remote contact; and Sustainable 5G/Beyond 5G Networks.

Digital for Planet – D4P helps private and public organisations to identify and grab public and private funding opportunities, elaborate research and innovation proposals and plans, and put together the most competitive consortia.

D4P specialises in European Commission public funding, with primary focus on the European Green Deal targeting sustainable innovation and societal transformation across a number of domains (e.g., energy, agriculture, food, environment, etc.). The  EU Green Deal plan to mobilise at least €100 billion over the period 2021-2027, spanning across multiple programmes: Horizon Europe, LIFE funds, Cohesion Fund, European Regional Development Fund, European Agricultural Guarantee Fund, European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

D4P is helping researchers and innovators to:
