The NGI Forum 2017 will take place on the 13th of September in Barcelona. Join us!

The NGI Initiative

The Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative, launched by the European Commission in autumn 2016, aims to shape the Future Internet as an interoperable platform ecosystem that embodies the values that Europe holds dear: openness, inclusivity, transparency, privacy, cooperation, and protection of data.

The NGI Forum

The NGI Forum on the 13th of September in Barcelona will gather together prominent actors in the fields that are building and refining the Internet of tomorrow.

Featuring eminent speakers from the public and private sectors, the Forum represents a unique opportunity to share knowledge with leading experts from across a variety of disciplines, including privacy and trust technologies, blockchain, decentralised data governance, edge intelligence, discovery and identification, and more.

The day of the Forum will also be an opportunity to learn and discuss specific topics in working sessions. To facilitate creativity and brainstorming, the attendees of each session will be given Playedo bricks on where they can draw and write their ideas towards a common relevant outcome.
