IoT Week and Global IoT Summit

Martel will be at the IoT Week the whole week representing both EXCITING, The EU-China Study on IoT and 5G project and the U4IoT (User Engagement for Large Scale Pilots in the Internet of Things) project. Both projects are indeed among the event’s partners and supporters of the IoT Week. EXCITING will be presented at the “5G for Connected Things Workshop” at the Global IoT Summit, on June 4th.

U4IoT project will be presenting two workshops “IoT Adoption Barriers- which, why and how?” on June 5th at 4:45 pm (Room C3). The aim of this workshop is to bring together participants from the five LSPs as well as other IoT experts, in order to discuss, validate and extend identified issues; and at the same time to discover other issues related to IoT implementations that we are not yet aware of. Moreover, the main barriers and/or enablers for end-users to adopt and use those IoT solutions in each of the five domains will be discussed in greater detail. Visit the workshop page to know more. and the “End-user Engagement tools and methods for IoT Projects” on June 6th at 11:15am (Room C3). The aim of this workshop is to introduce online and offline end-user engagement methods and tools developed by U4IoT, and to provide a general idea on how to apply them in an IoT project. Moreover, there will be room to experiment with the tools and to consult our experts to ask your project specific questions concerning end-user engagement.
