5G-DRIVE is a H2020 Research and Innovation Action that aims to explore the impact of transport cost and wireless channel (de-) aggregation technique on resource efficiency (cost, spectrum, power consumption) and service availability in aggregation network that uses optical or millimetre-wave carriers for interconnecting cell-site and baseband equipment.
Martel is supporting the project coordination of 5G-DRIVE, especially in terms of cooperating with the Chinese counter-part project, as well as leading the dissemination and communication activities, playing a prominent role in community building and coordination with other relevant projects and initiatives (including 5G PPP).
