Senior Project Manager

Prior to joining Martel in 2021, Eva acquired interdisciplinary project management experience working at the European Commission (Directorate General of Development Cooperation), Government and Diplomatic Organizations; Health Research Institute in Spain and further non-profit organizations in Brussels. She coordinated various health research projects involving 12-19 consortium partners to investigate and test new drugs and therapeutic strategies. The grants were co-financed by the European Commission’s Research Programme (FP7 and H2020) with a 3- 5 million EUR budget. She gained experience at phases of project management lifecycle from project proposal preparation, grant negotiation, implementation, reporting, monitorization until evaluation.

Eva holds Master’s degrees in International Relations, and in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.

Besides management experience, she got involved in dissemination and event organization activities, stakeholder identification & engagement, risk assessment & contingency planning, expenditure monitorization, scientific reporting, Data Management and IPR issues. She has an in-depth knowledge on the European Union research programs, procedures, and ICT platforms. She contributed to policy analysis in horizontal fields involving several thematic issues such as public health, higher education, human rights and democracy promotion, development cooperation and environmental protection. She is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Hungarian.
