Andrea is affected by an incurable addiction to maths and by binge programming disorder which, for over two decades, he has managed to put to good use to develop software in the UK, US, South Africa, Italy, France, and Switzerland. Having seen the rise and fall of so many methodologies, written code in every major programming language and had almost every framework du jour shovelled down his throat, he has come to the conclusion that the single most valuable asset in software development is maths. (Yes, his addiction really is incurable.)

Andrea currently lives in charming Lugano, but can still occasionally be seen on the home shores of Cape Town hopelessly trying to kitesurf the waves in the chilly Atlantic.
